The basic town-planning tasks of the project :
1. Turning of city life to the river, carrying of a public zone on the planted trees and shrubs quay, creation of a spacious foot promenade.
2. Connection of various types of transport - river, ground and air in a compact transfer unit.
3. All elements of a complex are represented uniform ensemble, which main idea - the biggest bed of Europe!
In case of flat terraces the quay would immediately turn to the urbanized district. In our offer green waves-hills hide all constructions, only semicircular windows 'catherine-wheels' come out on a surface .
CITY is the center of town-planning innovations. picks up this tradition and becomes an innovational embodiment of public space.
Three components of the project:
1. The foot street from the underground through MIRAX-PLAZA and the new transport terminal leaves to the river. The terminal connects automobile, water and air transport. The mooring along quay does not narrow water area of the river, but separates it from marine for yachts.
2. Multipurpose construction including trade center, restaurants and underground parkings. The roof represents 'a green carpet' with flower beds, foot pathes and set of open terraces.
3. Transport-residential bridge. The bend of the bridge combines rational turn of a monorail with forms expression, 'connecting by strap' public space and throwing it on another coast. Residential function on the bridge is an innovational type of the residential space - two-level country houses with the small green court yard which have hanged above water.
Each element of the project is all-sufficient and can exist independently from each other.
In the result the quay turns to a field for landscape experiments and faery night shows, and the city finds new life - life at the river!
