RECONSTRUCTION OF A BUILDING FOR RUSSOBANK (1996-97)

annotation: The project's pathos reflects the building's dramatic fate. This idea is expressed in a somewhat theatrical method: the partial restoration of the main facade in a ruined aspect and the intensification of the conflict with the theme of “contemporary” architecture. The method of “cultivating” architecture, marking the basic methods of forming a building under the influence of inner energy and the most varied external factors, was definitively established in this project.
